Recent graduate of BA (Hons) Textile Design at Central Saint Martins in Textile Design. Alongside the last few years as a student developing my own textile practice, I have worked on several collections, projects and one-oK pieces with young designers and companies. From freelancing craft-based technique and manual knitwear construction to textile consultancy and knitted sample development I have been able to turn my passion of the wider technical aspects of knitwear into invaluable experience.
My knitwear practice aims to instill a level of appreciation for fabric construction in the hope that a wider emotional resonance with textiles will eventually slow down fashion. My visual language is inspired by defining a characterful modern knitwear aesthetic that honours craft and authenticity. My passions also extend to social mobility and access into the arts, a form of education and knowledge exchange, whether that be directly within a knitwear context, or a broader creative mentorship will always be a part of my work and career. I look forward to continuing my studies and my investigation into technical knitwear on
the MA Fashion programme at CSM in next year,
